one sec intercepts tab navigation to configured websites and displays a friction screen before the user can continue.

When a user attempts to open a website they have added to their block list, the extension detects the navigation in the background service worker and sends a message to the content script to display an interstitial (a breathing exercise or delay prompt). Block schedules and session data are stored locally in chrome.storage. For users who create an account, the extension can communicate with web.one-sec.app/api/v1 to sync settings and subscription status across devices.
