Is Package Tracking Tab & Custom Web Search safe?

Package Tracking Tab installs Yahoo Search with affiliate codes as the default search engine without disclosing the commercial arrangement.

When installed, the extension replaces the browser's default search engine with a Yahoo Search URL that contains publisher-specific affiliate codes (hspart=mnet, hsimp=yhs-001, type=type9068662-spa-3537-241085). All searches entered in the address bar are routed through these parameters, generating affiliate revenue for the extension's publisher.
