Is Vatos DLP Endpoint Extension 1 safe?

Vatos DLP Endpoint Extension 1 intercepts file uploads, pasted text, and URLs and forwards them to a local DLP agent for policy checks.

On every page, the extension monitors file input changes, paste events, and drop events. File contents (as base64), pasted or dropped text, and visited URLs are sent to a locally running Vatos DLP agent at localhost:47102, which decides whether to allow or block the action. If the agent returns a block decision, the extension replaces the page content with a block notice and can add a network-level block rule for the tab.
