Eclipse IDE online is medium risk. Our dynamic analysis captured a cleartext HTTP request to www.clickasound.com that returns the server hostname used to build the popup iframe. Because the request goes over unencrypted HTTP, any network observer between the browser and that server can read your tracking ID and alter the server address injected into the popup. Our dynamic analysis confirmed that the extension generates a random 10-character identifier the first time it loads, stores it in both local and synced Chrome storage, and attaches it to every request sent to offidocs.com and clickasound.com. Because the ID is written to synced storage, it follows the same browser profile across Chrome installations on the same Google account, allowing activity to be correlated across devices over time.
